Here are a few favorite locations around East Atlanta. These spots photograph beautifully and give you variety without stress.

Vines Park

Vines Park feels peaceful and tucked away. It features a winding path around a lake, a gazebo, rose gardens, and towering trees. You will also find an Asian garden, lily pads, flowering bushes, turtles, and birds.

This park is perfect for families who like variety without walking far. There are small hidden corners everywhere. Kids can explore while we shoot naturally.

Freeman’s Mill Park

Freeman’s Mill Park is small but impressive. It covers about 12 acres and features a restored 19th century grist mill and a beautiful waterfall. The walk is short and worth it.

This location gives you a unique look that stands out from typical park photos. The textures and scenery photograph beautifully in fall.

Bonus for parents. There is a rubber padded playground nearby. It makes a great motivation tool for younger kids. This spot is ideal for mini sessions.

McDaniel Farm Park

McDaniel Farm Park sits minutes from I 85 and Gwinnett Place Mall. Once you step inside, the noise disappears. The land stayed in the McDaniel family from 1859 to 1999, and the history shows.

You get open fields, rustic barns, a blacksmith shed, and a charming white farmhouse. Paved trails make it easy for families with little kids. There are bridges, tall grass, and even an old truck that kids love.

This location works best for full sessions. There is a lot to explore. You never feel rushed. Your gallery will have a wide mix of looks in one place.
