Once you’ve decided that we are the best, and the contract is signed, take a deep breath! You are in good hands, and we will take great care of you! Christina will email you a rather lengthy questionnaire to fill out that gives us all the details of your day. A week prior to the wedding, we will call, just to touch base and make sure that you and your fiancé are ready! A typical timeline is as follows: An hour and a half before the wedding, we will arrive to photograph the wedding dress and the bridal party attending to the bride as she finishes getting ready for the big day. Once the bride is ready, we will begin taking pictures of her, her bridesmaids, and her family. From there, the bride will go back to the bridal suite, and we will attend to the groom. We will photograph finishing touches of the groom getting ready, the groomsmen, and his family. After that, relax! Our goal is to always allow “breathing room” for everyone right before the ceremony to have time to relax and prepare. After the ceremony, anyone who needs to be in the photographs should stay at the ceremony sight. This may include the minister, extended and immediate family, and the entire bridal party. We typically start with the largest family groupings and dismiss family to the reception as we finish. We will end with just bride and groom so you can have some time together before heading to the reception. This usually takes 30-45 minutes. In an effort to make sure everyone is on the same page, help the day flow smoothly, and get amazing photos, we will work with your wedding planner, venue, and/or caterer to create a custom schedule. Not sure what time to start hair and make-up? When should you cut the cake? This custom schedule is to help plan your entire day, capture all of the precious moments that make your day so special, and take some stress off of you!

We offer engagement, boudoir and bridal sessions as well. Each session gives you an opportunity to get even more comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding! This also gives us a chance to get to know each other and work together before your big day! Still on the fence? Here are some more reasons to go for it! Engagement Sessions: For many couples, the majority of their pictures together are snapshots and selfies. You cherish them, of course, because they capture a time and a place in your relationship together, but there is nothing that compares to gorgeous professional photos of the two of you at this time in your life. Boudoir Sessions: Most women aren’t comfortable in their own skin. We all have areas that we’d love to change, but here is the awesome part, the men we love think we are PERFECT! Give him a gift that will make him drool! Bridal Sessions: Not only do will you get more photos taken in your gorgeous wedding gown, but you will also get the chance to test out your hair and make up. It is a fun way to make sure that you look exactly the way you envisioned on your wedding day!

How far in advance do we need to book a photographer? We recommend reserving your wedding date as soon as you decide that we are the right wedding photographers for you. Booking early provides you with the peace of mind that you have your preferred photographer and takes one major decision off your plate! What do I need to do to reserve my wedding date? We need a signed contract and the non-refundable deposit of $250. How many photos will I receive? This totally depends on the variables of your booking – how many hours you book us for, if your reception and ceremony are at the same location, the weather, and many other considerations. There is no set standard number of images you will receive. A rough estimate would be a number somewhere between 600 – 1000 edited photographs. Will you personally be editing our photos? We personally edit every single photograph that is sent to you. We do not outsource editing to third-party vendors. Can I see a full wedding that you’ve photographed? Absolutely! We’d be happy to show you a complete wedding. Email us through the contact page and we’d be happy to send one over. What do you wear to a wedding? We dress formally, but comfortably, in dark (usually black) clothing so we blend into a crowd. Do you travel? Definitely! Email us to discuss details. What equipment do you have? Do you bring back-up equipment? We love Canon. We use professional digital cameras and bring extra equipment to every wedding. Have you ever been to my wedding venue before? Have you ever photographed a wedding like mine? It’s possible. After shooting over 200 weddings we have been to A LOT of venues, hotels and estates, but we always bring a fresh perspective. Even if we have been to a venue many times in the past, we approach every wedding as if it is the first time to ensure each couple has a unique set of images that capture their day exactly as it unfolded. One or both of us hate having our pictures taken and feel awkward in front of a camera! Can you help? Yes, of course! We understand that you might not have experience being photographed and we’re here to help. Some people take a little longer to warm up, and in those cases we make sure that you feel comfortable and relaxed while we are shooting. We promise, we make it painless and fun! It won’t be nearly as bad as you think! Not to mention, it will be the happiest day of your lives. You won’t be able to not smile. Do you have a list of preferred vendors? We do!
