1. Booking + Payment
All sessions must be booked in advance and require a non-refundable deposit to hold your date and time. The remaining balance is due on or before your session unless we've made a different arrangement in writing.
Payment methods include cash, check (payable to A Focused Life Photography), or credit card. Your session isn’t officially confirmed until the deposit is received.
Pricing is subject to change at any time, but we’ll always honor the price you booked at.
2. Cancellation + Rescheduling
Life happens—we get it!
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule. One reschedule is allowed without losing your deposit.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before your session, your deposit will be forfeited. Weather or emergency reschedules will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
If we ever need to cancel due to illness, emergency, or the unexpected, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost or offer a full refund of your deposit.
3. Image Delivery
Final edited images will be delivered via an online gallery within 2–3 weeks after your session.
Prints, albums, and other products may take additional time depending on production and shipping.
Need it sooner? Rush edits or extra requests may include an added fee — we’ll let you know upfront.
4. Copyright + Usage
We retain the copyright to all images. You’re granted a personal-use license, which means you can post, print, and enjoy them — but not sell or edit them without written permission.
We may use select images for our portfolio, website, or social media — unless you request otherwise in writing.
5. Client Responsibilities
Please share any must-have shots or ideas before your session — communication is key!
Be on time. Late arrivals cut into your session and may reduce the number of final images.
Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian present during the session.
6. Liability
We’re not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage during your session. You participate at your own risk, especially when using props or outdoor locations.
We’re also not liable for delays caused by weather, illness, emergencies, or equipment failure.
7. Refund Policy
All sales are final due to the custom nature of photography.
If something feels off with your images, let us know — we’ll do our best to make it right. Re-shoots may be offered at our discretion and could include additional fees.
8. Website Use + Content
All content on this site — images, text, graphics, logos — is ours. Please don’t copy, use, or repost anything without our written permission.
No hacking, tampering, or shady business with our site — legal action may be taken if needed.
9. Privacy
We value your privacy. Any personal information you provide is used only to deliver our services. We never sell or share your data without consent. Read our Privacy Policy for more details.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we do, we’ll post the new version here. Your continued use of our website or services means you accept the changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Georgia. Any disputes will be handled in that state’s courts.
