1. Booking and Payment
All sessions must be booked in advance and require a non-refundable deposit to secure your date and time. The remaining balance is due on or before the date of the session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments can be made via cash, check made out to A Focused Life Photography or credit card. A session is not confirmed until payment is received.
Prices are subject to change without notice. However, the price agreed upon at the time of booking will be honored.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule, you must notify us at least 48 hours before the session. One rescheduling is allowed without losing your deposit.
Cancellations less than 48 hours before your session will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Rescheduling due to weather or other uncontrollable circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
If we are unable to perform the session due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule at no additional charge or refund your deposit.
3. Image Delivery and Turnaround Time
We aim to deliver your final edited images within [insert time frame, e.g., 2-3 weeks] from your session date. However, this timeframe may vary depending on the scope of work and seasonal demands.
Images will be delivered via an online gallery for digital download. Physical products (prints, albums, etc.) may have additional production and shipping times.
Any special requests for expedited delivery or additional edits may incur extra fees, which will be discussed upfront.
4. Copyright and Usage Rights
We retain full copyright and ownership of all images taken during your session. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the images for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g., social media, printing for personal use).
Commercial use, resale, or editing of the images without our written consent is strictly prohibited.
We reserve the right to use any images for marketing, portfolio, or promotional purposes, unless a written agreement states otherwise.
5. Client Responsibilities
It is your responsibility to communicate any specific requests or ideas for your session in advance. We are not responsible for missed shots or dissatisfaction due to lack of communication.
You agree to be on time for your session. If you are late, this will cut into your session time and may affect the number of images captured.
For minors under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the session.
6. Liability
We are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during the photoshoot. Clients agree to assume all risks associated with the session, including but not limited to any risks associated with outdoor locations or props.
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather, illness, or equipment failure.
7. Refunds and Satisfaction Guarantee
Due to the custom nature of photography, all sales are final. No refunds will be provided once the session has taken place or digital files have been delivered.
If you are dissatisfied with your images, we will work with you to address concerns, but re-shoots may be subject to additional fees.
8. Website Use and Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, graphics, and logos, is the property of A Focused Life Photography and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use our website content without our written consent.
Unauthorized use of our website, including hacking or interference with its operations, is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
9. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected from you during the booking or session process will be used solely for the purpose of delivering our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
